change or not change ... that's the question.

so as i read the previous post from JULY i realize a few things. 1) i haven't blogged in FOREVER. 2) sure i moved and got a new job, but really not a whole lot has changed. 3) i'm wondering when things get better and when this damn 'recession' will end.

it's crazy to think that when i was writing about change, moving from portland and looking for new opportunities in seattle ... that the world and the state of the US would change so much. from a new president obama to a drop in the stock market that has been somewhat incapacitating for some poeple, particularly the banking folks. wow. i had no idea, but i'm fairly certain that's a part of life. sometimes life sucks. and sometimes it surprises you with the most fabulous of things. i'm hoping for the more fabulous things to kick in.

right now i'm working as an account manager helping people find jobs within the advertising industry. now i like it, but if you can imagine trying to find jobs within the advertising and marketing realms, you would understand why i'm needing to write a bit to decompress from this day and the stresses of dealing with clients who just don't want to talk to you. a bit grueling and exhausting ... suppose i just wasn't quite prepared for what the economy had in store for all of us.

at the end of the day i have to be thankful for my job and for the fact that i'm not at home living with my parents wondering how i'm going to pay my bills, or even have a respectable job that i can stand.

for that, i'm thankful. i'm not quite sure what else to write about at the moment. just that i'm ready for something exciting and fabulous to happen. yep.
